OUR STORY

About us:
Freeman Sanctuary encompasses 8 acres of gently rolling hills and is located in North East Arkansas, between the towns of f Paragould and Jonesboro. Five years ago the land was dedicated to religious gatherings and the Ancient Ones. This spiritual retreat has beautifully manicured grassy camping areas, a large fire pit for those late night drum and dance sessions, and as we are protectors of Mother Earth we utilize composting potties and on demand water heaters for showers. There is a sacred space in which to commune with the God/Goddess/Great Spirit. Freeman Sanctuary also features a gorgeous stage for musical concerts or other entertainment. But the great asset is the friendly, helpful staff. All religions are welcomed and resected here. A safe haven, free from judgment, a place to call home.
The property has been owned and/or maintained by 5 generations of women since the 1940's. The current owners still live on the property and gratefully follow in the foot steps of the ancestors.

"Bobbye puts on a nice relaxed event with time for relaxing as well as workshops. The music is always good with new acts or old favorites. I always feel relaxed, accepted, and enlightened when I leave."
